Motor Patrol
Organized 1971
The Motor Patrol was organized in 1971. We have eleven, three quarter scale Replicas of 1901 Oldsmobiles. The cars are maintained, repaired and driven by the members of the unit. We participate in approximately twelve parades a year.
The Motor Patrol has captured many 1st Place awards in both International and Northeast competitions. The officers of our unit are greatly involved in all International Motorcorp activities. There are over sixty trophies on display outside our unit room.
The full trophy cases in their unit review are a tribute to the excellence and dedication of all members of this unit. The Motor Patrol Ladies, known as the Road Runners, attend various parades and competitions through out the country to spur the members on. They are a great asset in assisting at all fund raising events sponsored by the Shriners. The Motor Patrol runs many social activities and functions, which always include the ladies. The Unit is currently soliciting new members to become a part of this great tradition.
Why Walk When You can Ride! If you Are interested in joining the Motor Patrol and helping us raise money for the Shriners Hospitals for Children please contact one of our officers.
