Aleppo Cycles Prepared for Imperial Competition in Charlotte, NC
The pandemic stole several years of competition from the award-winning and record setting Cycle Team, but we are finally back and ready to wow the judges again at the Imperial IASMC competition. As in the past, the “Comp Team” has plenty of support from long time members who are back up riders for our twice weekly practices, field timers, mechanics, wardrobe adjusters and cycle cleaners. All these participants are long time cycle members with strong ties to the unit and dedicated to its success. On the team of six riders, five have competed at past Imperials: Dave Ianelli, Ron Morse, Al Popoloski, Larry Salate, and David Veo. We welcome our newest team member, Thor Agustsson, who stepped up to round out the team and has quickly learned the routine. Of course, we could not do any of this without the Transportation Unit bringing our bikes and equipment to Charlotte. We are all excited to compete in the team competition, obstacle course, slow ride, and of course to represent Aleppo in the Imperial Parade.
Please join us and our Illustrious Potentate Charles Diminico at the competition field in Charlotte. It is always a lot of fun and a great opportunity to view the numerous motorized units from around North America.
A special thanks to every member of the cycle unit. Wherever you are, active or non-active, we appreciate your support. If you ride, want to ride, or just want to help with motorcycles we welcome you to join the Cycle Unit!
