Hi Folks,
Well, we are done with the shows for the rest of the year, and start anew in January. And speaking of the shows, the Chief of the Provost Guard would like to thank Chief Ken Zeller of the Fire Brigade and his fine band of men. The Provost Guard in its infinite wisdom were overwhelmed by the crowds of the Castlebury fair, being one of the largest (if not the largest) that we do. Chief Zeller and fellas came to our aid and did a spectacular job; thanks again Chief.

As always, Chief Nepo would like to thank his own brood for a fine job all year and is hoping for a great new year in 2019. He noted the tireless effort these men give all year, considering the conditions we have to work in. And because of this, he has given me the authority to buy the larger donuts in the morning, instead of the smaller ones I usually buy.
We did have a small ceremony in quarters, for two special reserve officers from the Legion of Honor. The Chief thought it would be highly appropriate to present these men with certificates as honorary Provost Guard.
S. Hoyt Siggins and John “dilly dilly” Bohling, also got their pictures taken, as you can see and got to take home the rest of the donuts. Congratulations men!
Chief “Nepo” Treanier and the Provost Guard would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
It takes a special person to be able to work outside in some of the weather we endure in New England; whether it is blazing hot in July and August or freezing cold with wind and snow in January and February. If you are a person who likes the outdoors in all kinds of weather, we can use you in our Unit. The obligation of being a member of the Provost is that you are expected to attend a minimum of 40% of all Tours of Duty. If this would fit you, please give us a call.
