Hello Nobles,
At last we are finally starting to open up after this long stretch of doom and gloom. There is not much going on and not much to do while the temple has been closed for business on all levels, such as shows parades and even in-house functions and meetings. The Temple Guard awaits on the word for the work to begin!
In all, within the past year, our acting Captain Charlie DiMinico has been elected as Assistant Rabban! Congratulations! On April 7th we had our first heads of units meeting. As a whole, attendance was great, Temple Guard had five members in attendance. Charlie DiMinico, Jack Ward, Dave Cross, Summer Freeman and Robert Cook. At the meeting we were informed that there’s a few parades in the works such as the Wilmington Memorial Day parade and Manchester-by-the-Sea later in the year, none of which are set In stone but we await to march on.
In addition at the heads of unit meeting held on April 7th, 2021, Charlie DiMinico had announced that he will no longer be serving as the Captain of the Temple Guard, so he could work as hard as he can in his role as Assistant Rabban. This being said, he will be missed by his fellow unit members. He has done a fantastic job! During his speech ,he appointed Robert Andrew Cook-Ward as the new captain of the Temple Guard! He expresed that he feels Robbie has a willingness to be here and that his heart is in the right place! Charlie also expressed that Robbie will make a great captain for these two simple reasons.
All that being said, I look forward to seeing you all soon! Have fun and be safe.
