CIRCUS COMMITTEE CORRESPONDENT
Nobles and families… are you ready?
In just a few weeks, the greatest show to hit the Aleppo Auditorium this year will be in town. Yes, the 68th Annual Aleppo Shriners Circus is coming in once again April 2019 with some exciting changes! Circus Chairman Roger Metcalfe and his faithful committee is once again working very hard on this year’s edition of the circus for your personal enjoyment. Mark your calendars and let your families and friends know that the Circus will open on Tuesday, April 16th with the 2 PM afternoon matinee show; and will close on Saturday, April 20th with the 7 PM evening show. There will still be twelve action-packed performances during circus week; which once again coincides with April school vacation week. We hope to see many of you in the stands enjoying the show or working alongside our Circus Committee members as volunteers. Electronic billboards will once again advertise the circus in various locations along the highways around the greater-Wilmington area; store posters are available to pick up in the Mezzanine area of the auditorium for your local establishments, and tickets can be purchased online at https://AleppoCircus2019.Eventbrite.com.
The Royal Hannaford Circus will once again present for the delight of our many friends, families and patrons a spectacular show which is guaranteed to please all; and will include the return of elephants, a barn-yard show, and several other surprises.
The schedule for the twelve shows is:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday (April 16 to 18): 2 PM and 7 PM
Friday and Saturday (April 19 to 20): 10 AM, 2 PM and 7 PM
Please mark your calendar for the date changes so you won’t be late for show time.
The circus committee looks forward once again to working with our volunteers who give their time and talent to bring the best circus possible to Aleppo for another year. If you cannot volunteer, there are other ways you can help make this year’s circus a resounding success. Mailers have gone out recently to be recognized as a Circus Daddy ($45.00 contribution), Circus Mom ($25.00 contribution); or the ever-popular Ringmaster program ($200.00 contribution).
Take a few minutes to search your mail and find these programs and support your Aleppo Circus once again with your financial contribution.
Finally, after the Easter holiday, on Monday morning, April 22nd the committee and its volunteers will be back in the auditorium to break down the show and put all our materials away for another year. If you can give a few hours’ time to help out, please let Roger Metcalf or any committee member know of your availability.
See you at the Aleppo Circus 2019!
