For those who missed out on the Shrine Swing Band annual Holiday party, it was a complete success!! Our Illustrious Potentate Robert S. Johnson hosted the social hour. Jack Austin from the Swing Band made a donation of $1,000 to the Aleppo Shriners Children’s Transportation Fund on behalf the Swing Band members. The Pot Luck was bountiful with many delicious delicacies!! Many thanks to John Gautreau who ran the Bar, as well as Larry Anderson and his wife, Lee, who set up the coffee station.

We were delighted to have the Dancers from the Boston Lindy Bomb Squad to entertain us and to dance along with guests. Our musical repertoire included many of the Big Band favorites along with some Rock selections. We are already looking forward to next year’s Holiday party!! Make sure when you see our advertisement you respond quickly so you don’t miss this event!! Seating is limited!!
The Shrine Swing Band is available for your Masonic events along with Shrine events. All donations we receive from our performances go to help the Shrine Hospitals and the Aleppo Shriners Children’s Transportation Fund. None of our talented musicians get paid for the performances! They donate their time and talents for Free!! Any inquiries please contact: Dick Fink at don.rich4@rcn.com, or 617-966-4100
