A large quilt handmade and donated by Phyllis Cross was displayed and raffled. Small Christmas trees were set up for beautifying the display and for sale.
A special “thank you” to HONS member Linda McLellan for always supporting the HONS and honoring the memory of her late husband, Fire Brigade Lieutenant John Mclellan, through a generous donation to our Fair this year.
A mini Festival of Trees was set up by David and Laura Veo and her crew, with trees offering a variety of gifts for the patrons to place their tickets for a chance to win and take home the tree and gifts; and a door prize was also awarded. Our thanks to the Andover Sportsman’s Club for their generous sponsorship of the mini Festival of Trees.
Santa Claus (shhh, Billy Manning) and Mrs. Claus (Ellie Manning) were there for the children’s joy – to meet and greet him and have their pictures taken. He was assisted by a workshop elf (Ally Veo), and that mischievous Elf (Flipz), and Santa’s personal photographer, Carl Ohlson.
The weekend was kicked off on Friday night with a “Sip and Shop” and was appreciated by all. Those who came to the event enjoyed the drink and conversation while having a chance to shop for their Christmas gifts. Our thanks to the Aleppo Brew Club who provided their craft beer, and to Charlie Matheson for contribution of the wine.
A great big THANK YOU TO ALL who came to the workshops, crafted on their own, gave monetary donations, assisted in set-up, worked the three sale days, and assisted in breakdown. And last but not least, to all who came and supported us with their purchase of our crafts.
